Butterfly display
the weather forecast→a butterfly opening its wings
I help out my wife with butterfly surveys for Butterfly Conservation. In this project the butterfly's wings open when weather conditions, from OpenWeatherMap, are good for a survey.
The mechanism uses a stepper motor controlled by a 4tronix PiStep2 from The Pi Hut.
